Upload your own cover artwork, or build one from the built-in templates. Any artwork you upload must be yours or licensed for commercial use — no brands, characters or other creators' work.
Your resource must be human-created content that you authored.
Pages shown on the cover must actually exist inside the file you upload.

Print-ready cover specs

Shape: Square, 1:1. Anything from 0.8:1 to 1.25:1 is accepted but 1:1 looks best in the grid.
Size: 1024 × 1024 px recommended. Minimum 800 × 800 px, maximum 4000 × 4000 px.
File type: PNG, JPG or WebP, under 5 MB. No PDFs, no transparent backgrounds.
Safe margins: Keep titles at least 60 px (about 6%) inside every edge — cards crop slightly.
Text size: Title at least 60 px tall so it stays readable at the 200 px thumbnail size.
Colour: sRGB colour profile, 72–150 DPI. CMYK exports look washed out on the web.

Exporting tips: in Canva choose Share → Download → PNG with size 1024 × 1024 px; in a slide editor set the slide size to 10 × 10 in and download as PNG. Flatten layers, turn off transparency, and avoid screenshots — they blur at full size.
